Payday cash advances can light the darkness.
The beginning of this adventure started with that crazy telephone call. The unfamiliar raspy voice still rang in Jacob's ears, as the instructions remained etched on his mind.
"Bring payday cash advances in the amount of $500 in small unmarked bills." The voice had instructed. The caller had informed Jacob that calling the police would mean he would never see his wife again. He knew he had to comply and find a cash advances company that was good. He called me and we talked for a few moments about this before he continued.
The verbal instructions were to drive along this deserted road until he saw a light flash from off the road. He was to stop and place a plastic bag with the payday advance in it along the side of the road. Then he should get back into the van, and drive back home. He would receive instructions on where to come and pick up his wife.
There it was-- the flash of light. That's where he was supposed to leave the payday cash advances.
Jacob pulled over to the side of the road, and got out with the plastic bag in his arms. It was heavy with the payday cash advances he'd signed up for He walked to the front of the van. The headlights illuminated Jacob and his payday cash advance burden, as he carefully placed the bag on the ground near the front of the van.
Jacob started back toward the driver's side door, and opened it to get in. He heard a hissing noise, and he looked in the direction of the noise, and noticed his front left tire was going flat. He quickly got the spare from the van, and rolled it to the front of the car, trying to ignore the sack full of payday advances.
A shot rang out in the darkness, and Jacob felt the searing pain as the bullet ripped through his chest, spinning him around. He dove through the open front door, trying to get out of the line of fire. The shooter cautiously came out of the woods, only to dive back into the protection of the greenery.
A flashing red light was coming down the road. It was a patrol car on routine patrol.
Sandy Miles and her partner John Kramer, came out of the black and white, and hurried to the van. Inside, they found Jacob laying in a pool of blood. He was quite dead. John walked to the plastic bag and looked inside. He walked back to where Sandy was standing by the open front door.
"What did you find, John?" Sandy asked.
John said, "This is really odd...the plastic bag is full of dirty laundry. Why would anyone kill someone for a bag full of dirty laundry? Maybe they thought it was payday cash advances?"
Ten miles away, Jacob's wife waited impatiently for her partner in crime to bring the money.
She thought,"What's keeping him?"
